If you will notice all the other tags are CA. except the bright red truck with the female in the front that one has Florida "Sunshine" tags and I just bet that some of these folks are the same ones that God says has "Reproached the steps of His anointed ones!" Straight out of the mouth of God!!! God is aware of everything that mankind is doing... even when they try to make a script that is upside down from the one that HE has planned. I just thought of something else, My good friend Amy Bell Blackman who is my long time friend that I met in Jackson MS in 1997 and her son Tie and my son Bobby were best friends/ Amy and I hooked back up as friends when I was living in Tarpon Springs, FL. She had moved back to Fort Wayne, IN. Amy and I were frequently talking on the phone and internet then a year later I found out that she was dating the Chief of the fire dept. Of Jacksonville, Fl. Then a little while after that she transferred to Jacksonville, Florida. Last year Amy moved into a brand new home there in Florida. I don't know if this is related but I just remembered that she was dating the chief of the fire dept. of Jacksonsville, Fl. at the same time I was living in Tarpon Springs. Amy is still my good friend and she is on my facebook list of friends. U2TOURFANS (9) Magnificent??? Was Bono singing about the creator? I don't think there is any mistaken that he was singing about the "Great God in Heaven (You know I love you")
I grew up on Rock & Roll! I Still LOVE IT! I know most rock & roll songs by heart. I won't tell you my age but Bono is still a baby and I'm a bit younger than him! Fifteen years later after living the Rock & roll lifestyle of concerts every month or so in High school and even after I married I still went to see Tina Turner, I became a born again Christian in 1988. After I got saved my new Christian education taught me that I had to be careful what I listen to. "See no evil, Speak No Evil, Hear no evil" so to speak... Monkey see, monkey do type thing. There were some great world wide preachers who taught me about words. That we create our future by the words we speak (or sing in this instance.) "By our words we are either justified or condemned" is how the bible says it. So It took me years to change my vocabulary. Bono's songs are laced with Holy Language. And he may not have intended it that way with "Streets have no name" as your blog indicated yesterday. But U2 is one of the only rock & roll bands that I can leave on almost 24/7 and feel good about all the lyrics! Thank GOD!

Rescuing the poorest of the poor is the path to God's blessings! One of those blessings being that of Protection and deliverance. We must give according to the measure in which we need God to move on our behalf. That is only when the breakthrough comes. If we don't give till it hurts then we may not have reached that breakthrough point to get the Spirit of the Lord to move on our behalf. It is called Baal Perazim in the bible. It is the point to which God's people broke through the enemies defense!
So David went to Baal Perazim, and there he defeated them. He said, "As waters break out, the LORD has broken out against my enemies before me." So that place was called Baal Perazim.
Sometimes, giving isn't enough. That may be all the more true for someone whose money is no object. That is when actions of heart felt deeds or fasting or some other thing directed by God may be the key to a miracle. Use the tools that God has given you to get the victory in your life. Prayer is also a powerful tool. And no fasting should be done without it if they are a Christian.

No one is perfect but Jesus! However, When I was living a back slid reprobate lifestyle in the nineties, God used Bono to remind me that I was not one of them (the world) anymore because I had been saved in 1988. All I had ever known was being a party girl. My parents taught me from a very young age that life was full of social drinking and lots of parties (including BIG political Campaign Parties held for their candidate friends.) Bono's music touched me when I was still in the dark places of bars, smoke, and beer... Until finally, five years after being born again I was delivered from that lifestyle. It didn't mean that I wasn't saved, it only meant that I was still living all I had ever known. Bono has a beautiful & sensitive soul that most Christians never attain. So regardless of Bono's spiritual condition he is getting a better start towards God than most ever will because his heart is not hard, but he has compassion towards the needs of the world's destitute people such as Somalia Drought victims. And towards the helpless due to injustice such as Aung San Suu Kyi. I also had a very soft heart my whole life before I ever knew the Lord. I think that made it easier for me to become HIS!
